It’s Been a Long Day

19 10 2012

Busy day working in the field in the town of Hnífsdalur. We did intertidal algae transects to measure zonation, species composition and biomass. Not all beaches in the North Atlantic are the same and I learned many new species. Although I saw a few old friends (Ascophyllum, Polysiphonia, and even Choreocolax).
