Busteling Basel

23 12 2012

Located where the Swiss, French and German borders meet, Basel is the third largest city in Switzerland! In this part they speak Swiss German which is a sort of dialect. The town is great, full of shops and busy people trying to finish their Christmas shopping. The streets are hilly and winding, lined with old homes and storefronts. There are speciality stores galore… from cheese to model trains and from wine to neck ties!

The only thing in this store is CHEESE! We bought some and had it as an after dinner treat.
