A walk to Narnia?

28 12 2012

Caumasee (Romansh: Lag la Cauma or Lai da Cauma) is a lake near Flims, in the Grisons, Switzerland. Caumasee is a spring-fed, iridescent-blue-water lake. It is one of the lakes on the Flims Rockslide deposits. There is a fantastic trail or tram ride to the lake where visitors and locals alike swim.

Totally mystical! At this time of year it is mostly covered in ice, but a bit of the blue water was still visible.

The scenery on the trail to the Caumasee Lake look just like the Narnia movie, complete with the lamp post.
