Nammidagur

Every Saturday is Candy Day (Nammidagur), which means candy is 1/2 price!!! So you get twice as much.

That's a lot of candy!

That’s a lot of candy!

Grab a paper bag and fill it with sweet, sour and peppery bonbons, gummy-lips and gummy-mushrooms, chocolate fingers, liquorice coins, sour apple rings, salted skulls, not to mention the ever-popular salty smilies.

Apparently it is so that parents can tell their kids that they can only have candy once per week – on Nammidagur, so the rest of the week they don’t ask. I don’t go very often because my dad’s best friend is a dentist…
